FAQ: How Do You Properly Report Scammers?
It is essential that law enforcement knows about scams & scammers, even though there is nothing (in most cases) that they can do.

KNOWING isn’t enough in a romance-scam.
DISENGAGING EMOTIONALLY ASAP is essential, which, for men probably means stop looking at the pictures they are sending.
I’ve found it easy to spot scams, even romance scams. But if the scammer is able to truly hijack your amygdala, that is, get your ‘love’ emotions to spike higher than you are familiar with and experience at controlling, you might become too “forgiving” of the lies you hear, and simply look at it as, “Well, nobody’s perfect.” If the scammer causes you to have stronger FEELINGS than you’re ever had in the past, it doesn’t matter how moral or disciplined you are if you’re feeling euphoric enough when contacted by the scammer.
That is, having stronger feelings than you’ve ever had will NOT feel foreign in an alarming way because it is not a new TYPE of feeling. However, if it is stronger than you’ve ever felt, it means, necessarily, it can override rules you’ve set in place without you realizing anything fundamental is wrong.
I knew there were things wrong in the online relationship I had recently. I have no problem ending things when I should in relationships. But, here, each time after deciding to leave, a little time would pass, then I’d feel really good physically/emotionally a bit euphoric, like I was drowning in dopamine and I would come back.
I have NEVER done that before in my life but did that repeatedly with this person.
The reason I got this way was clear to me. The scammer person kept giving me very attractive sexy pictures and videos claiming they were of her. After pushing her on another topic, she falsely claimed as if it was an admittion, that she was a light-porn actress named BRIANA LEE…I didn’t know who that was at the time, but NOW I know why her photos are used more than any others.
It’s not simply that she is very attractive. A necessary distinction is to say that, naked, she might be the most attractive porn actress there is or at least most attractive I’ve ever seen in my life.
***THIS, I believe is the most effective element of pushing men’s emotions higher than they are used to. If the scammer is constantly sending photos and videos of this person it will put the man off balance, emotionally, and make is seem natural to find reasons to let bad things slide in a way he has never have done before and it will feel natural.
I kept coming back until something she did bothered me enough to stay away for about 5 days. By that point the euphoria that kept pulling me back was gone and I easily decided to walk away for good. Right after that, I looked up Briana Lee and paid for a one minute video call with her explaining my situation and this would provide very thorough closure which I would not have experienced by simply “concluding” Briana was not the person I’d been in contact with for months. I then contacted the scammer and explained what I did. She reacted by apologizing and admitting things I already knew but closure in both directions made it effortless to walk away. Keep in mind though, even now, I have some feelings for the scammer. I KNOW they are misdirected and that emotions will find their place when you can focus on the truth.
I believe this is the reason she is so effective for scammers. Also…
-CHOOSING PICTURES of a PORN ACTRESS means there will be plenty of pictures to use, and, that
-ACHIEVING OVER-STIMULATION, EMOTIONALLY will be the key to the scammer’s success. A normal relationship will not cloud judgment.
